2010 - Happy thermals!
Jana Vostrelova and Vitezslav Sterba are getting married on the 4th of September 2010.
Jana is the daughter of Jaroslav that started Samba models and the sister of Jaroslav and Vlastimil that runs the company now with help from Jana. Vitezslav is a good F3J pilot and have been on the National team F3J for Czech Republic and works in the family company Samba Model.

8-9.05.2010 - Eurotour and worldcup in Holic
organized 8th and 9th of May with 595 competitiors. 12 pilots were in flyoff - 7 of them was flying with PIKE Perfect or Perfect ET. The winner was junior from Slovakia Jan Litva with PIKE Perfect ET. His

News 2010
PIKE Perfect and Perfect ET are available with lower flying weight for this season.
we managed to decrease the weigh by +/- 150 g, it depends on version. 2/3 of weight difference was saved on the wing with the same stiffness. The lower weigt improves the performance of the model. 1/3 weigth difference was saved on the fuselage. New fuselage is lighter and also stiffer and more rigid.

13-16.02.2010 - Brazil
First flying this year was in Brasil Sao Paolo 13-16th of February. where Jaroslav Vostřel and his wife Eva represented our team. Our friends from Sao Paolo invited them to this very kind event. This "competition" took place on a privat aifrield about 80 km from Sao Paolo. It was a very nice place. They would like to thanks them for their hospitality and kindness. They enjoyed lots of fun, great food. Weather was very warm, arrivel to Brazil was big change for them. In Czech Republic it was -15 °C temperatures and 36°C welcomed them in Brazil. Even night temperatures were not below 22°C. World-known carnival took place there just in that days of their visit and they could not miss this party. It is big holiday for Brazilians and they enjoy it so much, there was such a great atmosphere. Once more thank you very much for chance to spend great 5 days with kind people in sunny Sao Paolo.

13-14.6.2009 - Jura Cup Eurotour - Double Victory
Philip Kolb won again in one of the biggest competitions this year. The competition in Arbois was probably a good test for next years World Championship (not on the same field though).
Congratulation to Philip. Philip flew two morning rounds with his Perfect ET. Preliminary rounds was won by Timo Ganser, German junior flying with PIKE Perfect.

Jaroslav Vostrel won preliminary rounds and came 3rd in Eurotour F3J in Podhorany, Czech Republic. 5 Perfect's in the final. Very difficult flying conditions.

25.4.2009 first Czech qualification WC 2010
It was very windy comepetition and sometimes it looked more like running race, very difficult
The best in fly off was Jan Vacha who returned after 3 years study break. He showed good feeling for thermals with his Superior and he won with piece of luck. 2nd was junior Tomáš Kadlec with Perfect. 3rd Jiri Ducháň with Perfect.

On the 2nd and 3rd of May the annual Bulgaria Cup F3J was held in Dupnitsa beneath the Rila Mountain Range in Bulgaria. philip won again a clean 103% win in the Eurotour. Murat Esibatir won the Balkan Cup with the new Perfect ET

New Pike Perfect ET
(Extended Tips) released
Vlastimil flew the new ET tips on Tuesday before the North Cyprus F3J Open. and in the weekend Jojo won the North Cyprus F3J Open 2009.
The new tips makes the Pike Perfect 3,78m and is made to improve circling performance and dead air time. The weekends competition shows that it is also performing well in both high winds with ballast and normal conditions.

Jojo got 5 flights on his brand new Pike Perfect ET (extended tips) Friday and went on to win the preliminary rounds with 6000p and also the finals to take home the trophy.

Let us introduce our firm and mainly our products.

All our models are based on our own experience but also on the experience of the pilots all over the world.
Before we make moulds and start production of a model we make a prototype and test it. As soon as we know that the model is good it is time to make the moulds. We cooperate with the top pilots in the world to get feedback. A model good enough for a world contender is a very smooth and balanced plane for you as a customer. The models we produce are the best out there and we will always take feedback to make them better.

Our firm is seated in Sebranice, Czech Republic and are a family company with a strong staff of the best workers that can be found. We all travel to the big competitions and thereby get new knowledge and ideas of things to come. You can be sure that we are always working on being that tiny edge in front of the development.

Our models are produced in a lot of shapes. Many PIKE-parts fit together so you can have a different model with the same fuse. There is a lot of options on the PIKE´s:

Wings: You can choose different lay ups- glass, carbon, double carbon - called eXtreme, or special version of PIKE Superior/Brio - light or super light. The flaps are made top bottom hinged. Bottom hinged flaps allows 90° down deflection. For better brakes a broader flaps are also available on request.

Fuselages: is made of carbon / kevlar cloth but also pure glass fiber if ordered. You can have stronger ones for slope flying or lighter for F3B or F3J. The fuse is equipped with adjustable tow hook and can hold two ballast chambers for those tough conditions. We have several different fuses available to suit the needs of you as a pilot. All fuses can be fitted to either a PIKE Superior or PIKE Brio wing.
Three main options are:
- W: Two piece V-tail fuse with removable nosecone is often preferred by the F3F pilot that wants V-tail but the easy transportation that a 2-piece V-tail offers. The tail section is very rigid and can take those hard sideslip landings on the slope.
- V: One piece V-tail fuse with canopy fuse is the lightest alternative we have and with the canopy fuse it can take some hard landings and still be aerodynamic slim. Two sizes V-tail are available to fit different type of flying.
- X: A light and very efficient tail is a key issue in aero modeling. A well built and constructed X-tail have always been preferred by modelers all over the world. We believe we have constructed an elevator/rudder fuse that not only is rigid and efficient but with linkage that is very precise and with no slop. The fuse is with canopy opening and two sizes elevator is available to fit different type of flying. The weight penalty is very little because we use the best technique available.

Accessories: All our models is delivered with ready fitted control horns on all surfaces (nuts glued in the surface) and ready fitted pushrods in the fuse.

Ballast tubes: Ballast tubes in the fuselage are standard - 1 tube for apx 500 g or 2 tubes for apx 1000 g. On request one ballast tube can also be in the wings with 500-1000g of ballast. We can off course deliver brass ballast with your model.
